Everyone has a heart. If the heart stops beating, life will disappear with it. The car is no exception. The engine is the heart of the car, especially in the seasons. Due to the high humidity and the high and low temperature, it is easy to cause damage to the engine. Therefore, the quality of maintenance directly affects the performance of the car and its Service life. Experts say that the five most common problems that car owners commit are the direct causes of "heart disease" in their cars.

Engine maintenance is not scheduled

Usually people always like to invest a lot of money in modification, but it is easy to neglect to maintain the engine on schedule. According to the mechanics of the 4S shop, among the cars they handle, failures caused by poor engine maintenance account for 50% of the total failures. It can be seen that engine maintenance can play a vital role in extending the service life of the vehicle. Of course, it will also reduce unnecessary losses for you. Otherwise, there is a saying of "repairing for cultivation".

Reminder: It is not only the maintenance of the engine during the regular maintenance period, but also the inspection and maintenance of the relevant parts of the engine when driving through some particularly humid or dusty areas.

Engine oil deterioration and poor oil filter

The oil quality of different grades of lubricating oil will change during use. After a certain mileage of the vehicle, its performance will deteriorate, which may cause various problems to the engine. In order to avoid the occurrence of these failures, the car should be changed regularly in accordance with the conditions of use, and the amount of oil should be moderate, generally between the upper and lower limits of the oil scale.

When the oil passes through the pores of the oil filter element, the solid particles and viscous substances in the oil are accumulated in the filter. If the filter is clogged, the oil will not pass through the filter element smoothly. It will rupture the filter element or open the safety valve. Passing through the bypass valve will still bring dirt back to the lubrication part, which will accelerate the engine wear and increase internal pollution. Therefore, the regular replacement of the oil filter is equally important.

Reminder: Don't add less engine oil, but don't add too much. It is not that the more expensive the brand-name synthetic engine oil, the better. The engine oil suitable for your car is the best.

Air filter plugged

The intake system of the engine is mainly composed of two parts: an air filter element and an intake duct. According to different usage conditions, the air filter element should be cleaned regularly. The methods that can be used are high-pressure air blowing from the inside out to blow out the dust in the filter element. Since the air filter element is made of paper, pay attention to the air pressure not to be too high when blowing, so as not to damage the filter element. The air filter element should generally be replaced after cleaning 3 times. The cleaning cycle can be determined by the air quality in the daily driving area.

Reminder: It is also very important to purchase genuine air filter elements provided by good quality manufacturers.

Dirty intake pipe

If the vehicle often drives on the road with more dust and poor air quality, you should pay attention to cleaning the air intake duct to ensure the smooth flow of air intake. The intake duct is very important for the normal operation of the engine. If the intake duct is too dirty, it will cause a decrease in efficiency, which will make the engine unable to operate within the normal output power range, and aggravate the wear and aging of the engine.

Reminder: Try to avoid the dusty areas, and at the same time, pay attention to the replacement of the air-conditioning grid.

Excessive sludge in crankcase

When the engine is running, the high-pressure unburned gas, acid, moisture, sulfur and nitrogen oxides in the combustion chamber enter the crankcase through the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall, making it mixed with the metal powder produced by the wear of the parts. Together, sludge is formed.

A small amount of sludge can be suspended in the oil, and when the amount is large, it will separate out from the oil, blocking the filter and oil holes, causing difficulty in lubrication of the engine, thereby intensifying the wear of the engine. In addition, when the engine oil is oxidized at high temperatures, paint film and carbon deposits will be formed and adhered to the piston, which will increase the engine's fuel consumption and decrease the power.

Reminder: To reduce the production of sludge, it is very necessary to use high-quality fuel. Therefore, it is recommended that car owners go to a genuine gas station as much as possible when refueling. In addition, the use of quality lubricants and the replacement of lubricants and oil filters in accordance with the maintenance intervals specified by the manufacturer are also critical. In addition, please check the oil level of your car frequently and replenish it as soon as possible if it is insufficient.
